How does it work?

A neuromodulator is a drug that inhibits the release of acetylcholine from the nerve endings in your skin. Minute concentrations of these purified proteins can cause the muscles in the face to relax, reducing wrinkles.

Botox has been approved for the treatment of upper facial lines, primarily around the eyes, between the eyebrows, or along the forehead.
